If you have a move scheduled this spring, you may be wondering what happens if rain is forecasted on your scheduled day. As a general rule of thumb, we will not cancel a move due to rain. If inclement weather occurs, this may change but one of our team members will be in touch with you regarding your specific circumstance.
So, if rain is in the forecast don’t be worried! Unless you hear otherwise, we will be there ready to move you! We have special procedures that we use during a rainy day to keep your possessions dry and safe.
For example, we pad and shrink wrap the large pieces. This protective plastic will keep the item dry while we move it into the enclosed box truck. We move boxes quickly into the truck, sometimes covering them if the circumstances require it. We also strategically plan our day based on the rain pattern. While it is raining heavier we may stay inside and pack until it lightens up and we can move the packed items out.
Our Red Carpet Service commitment is extremely critical in the rain as our red runners catch mud and keep it from being tracked throughout your home. Our conscientious crew members will be sure that your home and your items are not aversely affected by a rainy day.
We have experience moving customers rain or shine. No matter the weather, we will get the job done!
